received many district and conference awards, including All Sate First Team Basketball in 1963
Was awarded an academic and athletic scholarship to attend Eastern Oregon University
while at Eastern he lettered 3 years in basketball and 4 years in track
graduated from Eastern Oregon University in 1968 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education
in 1975 earned his Master's Degree in Education
Earned a 2nd Master's Degree in Education Administration in 1978 from University of Oregon
Career:
spent 19 years at McKay Creek Elementary School in Pendleton
4 years as Athletic Director and Vice Principal at Pendleton High School
9 years as Principal of Sherwood Elementary School
8 years as Adjunct Professor at Eastern Oregon University
15 years as University Supervisor for 6 area colleges and universities
Has devoted a number of years to coaching basketball, football and track
Served as Vice President of Administration for Northwest Basketball Camps
