How long have you served on the AWSD school board?
"Since 2021"
Why do you believe it is important to be on the board of directors? "I grew up in the Athena Weston School District and soon my children will be students here. I think it is important to be on the board because our school district plays such a key role in shaping the children of our community and opening their eyes to opportunities both within and beyond our community. It is a pleasure to be involved in that process."
What are your favorite hobbies? "I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors (hiking, fishing, exploring) and indoors (card games, board games, video games)."
What is your day job? "I am an attorney at Corey, Byler & Rew."
What activities were you involved in during your high school years? "I played volleyball and softball. I also participated in National Honor Society, student government, and FFA."
What was your favorite subject in school? "Writing and English."
What is your proudest accomplishment? "My two wonderful children."
What is one thing on your bucket list? "Learning to surf."
If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be? "Spend time outdoors with my family."
What is your useless talent? "Memorizing children's books."
