Please note that Athena Elementary School and Weston Middle School will operate on a regular school day schedule. Students in grades K-8 will attend a full day of school tomorrow, December 10, 2024 with transportation home at the regular dismissal time.

The high school will serve lunch at 11:30am. Transportation will be provided for students as needed at 11:45am. This includes a shuttle to Weston, a bus to Adams, a shuttle along the River Route, and a shuttle along the Mountain Route.

For 11th and 12th graders who would like to attend the service in person, the district will provide transportation and chaperones to Joseph. The bus for students attending the funeral will leave the high school at approximately 10:45 am and will return at approximately 4:00pm. Permission slips have been sent home today for students planning to attend the funeral and must be returned on Tuesday morning in order to board the bus.

In addition, the high school staff will make a livestream option of the funeral service available on campus at 1pm for students wishing to attend virtually.

Any district family or community member wishing to make a memorial donation in honor of Mr. Bush or to send a note of condolence to the family may contact the high school office for further information.

Thank you for your support for our students and staff at this difficult time.
