Seeking volunteers!

Help us to improve outcomes for all students by serving on the District’s new Educational Equity Advisory Committee.

Purpose: To ensure equitable outcomes for ALL Athena-Weston School District students

Logistics: ❖ Approximately 5-8 members with facilitation by the Superintendent ❖ Representative of all student populations, including underserved populations ❖ Quarterly meetings beginning in 2025

Duties: ❖ Advise the School Board and Superintendent of the educational equity impact of policy decisions ❖ Inform the School Board and Superintendent about the experience of underserved student groups to ensure positive outcomes for all students ❖ Provide input to the District Budget Committee
