7th & 8th grade students you will receive a permission slip today to watch the movie The Good Lie as it is rated PG13. In order to watch the movie on Friday you will need to have the permission signed and returned.

Weston-McEwen High School families: Umatilla School District has contacted us about tonight's football game. They are having issues with their Pixellot camera and are working with them to get it fixed. If your feed of the football game is blurry, please use the other link on the NFHS site. Umatilla will be running a separate feed with a clearer image.
Attention WMS Families - We have had multiple questions regarding school photos here at the middle school. We have been and are continuing to try our best to schedule school photos! As you can imagine LifeTouch is swamped with schools scheduling times for this spring. We will keep you posted on a date as soon as we have one. Thank you for your understanding!

Weston-McEwen Students and Parents,
We had a great week bringing back all students with A/B full day schedules. The A/B schedule runs Monday through Thursday with Fridays designated for extra support. Some students are required to attend on Fridays and all students have the option to contact teachers for scheduled time to come in for extra support. Please note that any student with a failing grade is required to attend on Fridays. Our goal is to have all students daily when the restrictions are removed for cohort numbers and classroom distancing requirements.
WMS Announcements 3/8/21 - Today's lunch is Chicken Sandwich. Starting today Monday, March 8th, 8th grade students may bring their phone to lunch and recess.
Please remember you must obey all school technology rules including no taking pictures in order to keep this privilege. Again, this is 8th grade only.
LSF (Late Start Fridays)
LSF were scheduled on the academic calendar prior to the COVID pandemic and the shutdown of onsite learning. Please make note that there are no LSF for this academic year.
WMS Announcements 3/5/21 - Happy Friday!!! Today's lunch is Chef's Choice. We'd like to remind all students the rules regarding cell phones at school. If you bring a phone to school, it MUST be turned off and in your backpack at all times. If you need to make a call during the day you may do so from your classroom. Have a GREAT weekend everyone!

WMS Announcements 3/3/21 - Good morning and happy Wednesday! Today's lunch is bean/cheese burrito and French fries.
WMHS will be streaming our home games and hopefully all our away games. All schools in our league will be using the NFHS network. It has a subscription fee that is monthy or yearly. Games will be available on deman so that you may watch them at your leisure.

Attention Weston Middle School Families:
Today is the first day of athletics!! There will be football and volleyball practice for 7th and 8th graders at the Middle School from 2:00pm-3:30pm. There will be Cross Country practice for 6th-8th graders at the Athena Elementary School from 3:30pm-5:00pm. There will be an activity bus running from Weston to Athena and back at 3:30pm and 5:00pm. Go TigerScots!

Attention Weston Middle School Families:
We are so excited to have your students back full time starting Monday, March 1st. 4th through 8th graders will be coming from 8am-2pm Monday through Friday. If your student was absent today Friday, February 26th, please have them report to the office first thing Monday morning to receive their class schedule.
